This lighting project was launched to promote the collaboration between manufacturing technology and design. The series of stamp lamps are made by either punch machine or laser cutting to create flat radial patterns that have maximum flexibility to allow its users to fold into any 3D shape. The cut-out patterns were designed to create various lighting effects and shadows according to the different ways it’s folded. The range of product of a stamp lamp shed, and two types of tea-light holders, was first released in the Milan exhibition 2012 and is currently selling exclusively at the Tom Dixon shop.
