My role oversaw all hardware items of the project including the BLOCKS, the accessories and the packaging to assure the ID consistency and helped to bridge the design intents and engineering solutions. BLOCKS is a system trying to deconstruct the complexity of the instruments and then democratize the joy of music-making to a much broader consumer group from beginners to professionals. The whole system is built around a modular concept that you have total freedom to decide how you shape and use your instrument. You could start with a single handy pad to learn basic melody or line up a studio set up to produce the next hit.
